Not all manufacturers have decided to dump on their customers. Thanks for the suggestion, but since the new OS versions don't offer anything I need, I'll stick with what's working just fine for me (also the other product offered does support Win XP).

If I want to spend a few thousand dollars, I'd take a nice vacation to a warm topic, not spend my evenings swearing at Microsoft while I try to update or reinstall my software.

I just don't see a need for spending hundreds of dollars for a new computer to run the upgrade (which costs a few hundred dollars more) that will destroy my existing software installs (which will cost a few thousand dollars to replace), reduce the features I use, requires expensive new software purchases and retraining because Microsoft decided to play "hide the option" with the user menus. The issue of Windows security is a joke to Microsoft. Windows has been regressing the features and functions available to users in favor of useless and annoying interface changes that no one wants or needs. :) I do use Win 7 at work and it is ok, but the Virtual Desktop was a major step backwards from Win Xp in that you can't start a process in one desktop and move it to another. Manfred, You can have my Win XP when you pry it from my cold dead hand.

I have been a member of there software and WEB store for many years and have never been spammed! Or, Received piles of e-mails I did not want! They sent me the news letter once or twice a month and I asked them to stop one time and they quit right away! They are a great company to deal with, always have my apps available for download and keep all my registration numbers on the site if I ever need them, There software works as good as Photoshop! I am a photographer and I can get the same great results from there photo programs as I get from PS at a fraction of the cost! Thanks Ashampoo for another grate app update and Thanks to everyone at GOTD for there offers from a great company. Just FYI, Another great software app from Ashampoo! I also just payed for the upgrade to version 6 since it was offered today for half price! (o I have perchesed a lot of different apps from Ashampoo and they never disappoint and are very high quality.
